India Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd., One of the leading bike manufacturers in India is expecting to unveil its new Yamaha FZ that has a 250cc engine which is coming soon to India from Indonesia this year. After successfully launching the Yamaha R15 and Yamaha FZ16, Yamaha FZ 250cc is yet to see the light of day on India’s soil. Yamaha expects the bike will offer better navigation with a high quality engine, stylish look and better performance to attract the youth of India and sporty bike lovers. The bikes will available in the market and it is expected that the bike will go for approximately Rs. 1,50,000.
The Yamaha FZ 250 cc comes with improved specifications that will surely be a competitive challenge to the Bajaj Pulsar 220. Some of the specifications that this bike ill have include: – a single cylinder and an engine capacity of 249cc that will use Asia Fuel injection. The bike will come with great power as it will be able to generate a high power of 24 bhp at 7, 500 revolutions per minute. It will also have an impressive torque of 20.5 Nm at 6,500 revolutions per minute. It will come with reliable braking system of 100/80-17 for the front wheel and 130/70-17 for the rear wheel. It has fuel tank capacity of 17 liters with its reserve. With the high power that this bike has it can be able to move at a high speed of 145 km per hour.
The Yamaha FZ 250cc is also known as Scorpio bike and it will come with a look similar to other bikes by other manufacturers that are currently available in the market. The round head lamp from the Yamaha FZR bike has been replaced with a new headlamp. The headlamp looks similar to Yamaha FZ -16. The rear part of the bike also got a new looks with its tail light which gives it a sporty look. The indicators are made smaller in its size. In addition, it will be equipped with AI System and a large-capacity muffler with catalyze for cleaner exhaust.
